The working class of America right now is:

a) Required to defend itself from radical Islamist - its a fact deal with it.

b) Required to tax itself to pay for the retirement and medicare of the ultra me baby boom generation who allowed its leaders to squander its social security.

c) Being forced to not only stop polluting the earth but pay for restoring it to some hypothetical pre pollution state.

d) Rebuild an infastructure of America that was ignored by the baby boomers - but used of course.

How much do today's leaders really think they can "dump" in this working class in America?

The earth is in better shape now than it was 30 years ago - other than that it's not just any particular class, it's everyone who has to put up with it - and we shouldn't.

As an American, a middle-class American (or used to be anyway), I can see my peers becoming more and more frustrated with the whole “Liberal / Conservative” B.S. It wont be long before John Q. Public says enough is enough.

Let our government officials, elected or appointed; pass a bill granting 20 million illegal immigrants amnesty and we’ll all find out that most of America is truly not living in a Red or a Blue state, most of us live in a Red, White and Blue state.

If the federal government mis-spent its moneys, that fault lies at the foot of the Congress. Said Congress has been Republican about as much as it has democratic.

In real politics, there are no parties; just completely self-motivated businessmen pulling strings and parading puppets for the rest of us to 'vote' for.

Your own party (assume you're a Republican), didn't want to deal with radical Islam until 9/11, then the way they dealt with it was to build a proto-police state.

What solutions other than eternal mercenary war are you offering? You think the infrastructure will rebuild itself? You think the GOP will solve the energy mess?

Dream on.

So where exactly does the buck stop? You're putting the blame on politicians of the baby boom era for not sorting out their problems, and then saying "well why should WE have sort them out". You should sort them out because somebody has to, and soon.
