Look at the Coast Guard staging yesterday for the mention of Bin Laden and AL Qaeda in the speech and how we have to fight them in Iraq now. Time lines are a bit*h however. Bin Laden purportedly tried to establish an Al Qaeda group in Iraq to carry out terrorist attack OUTSIDE of the country in 2005, 2 years after we invaded. IF as one of the premises had been that Al Qaeda had already existed, why would Bin Laden have been trying to create a cell in a country he already had one in? Because it did not exist BEFORE we got there. We gave them a perfect training 'ground in urban guerrilla warfare.
the thing is that the fearmongering will work especially on the staunch 27-29% of his continued supporters who buy the tripe he spouts.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a speech that GWB has given in the last 6 years that didn't tell Americans that we need to be fearful of terrorists in one way or another. Just his way to keep fear alive.Additionally, the terrorist alert, since it's creation, has not been "green" for even one single day.

No, it is the crap that flies out of his mouth that he attempts to fear-monger with. Like over 2 year old de-classified info on OBL.
