Question : Jude has a fish tank. The fish tank can fit 100 000 cm cubed of water . Jude does not want to Full up the whole tank so she wants the tank to be 5cm Shorter den the top ( 100 000 cm cubed )
What is the amout of water in cm cubed that she can pour in to the tank, so that 5 cm from the water to the top is not covered.
Heres the problem I don't noe how to convert cm to cm cubed !

i think you need the lenght and with of the tank
to convert cm to cm^3
suppose the widht of tank is 10cm and lenght is 20 cm
you would multiply all three dimensions
lenght x width x height
10cmx20cmx5cm 1000cm^3

Create the fish tank. Let's make it 100 cm x 100 cm x 10 cm
This gives us 100000 cm ^3
Now instead of filling it to the top, only fill it to 5 cm.
So we need 100cm x 100cm x 5 cm
This is 50000 cm^3 of water.

This is a volume question. You get cm cubed when you figure the volume. You need the heighth, length & width of the tank.
