she can sing but i dont think she will be a star..not like kelly and carrie..i think america just picked her because she was the better choice between her and blake but i dont think she will be going very far..she will not stick around...her songs will only appeal to the thirteen year olds.

I totally agree. This one was boring. NOBODY was a clear winner throughout the season, as is usually the case. I'm not surprised that Jordin won. I hope next season is better.

I liked some of the contestants---Blake and Jordin were great choices for the finale and I was really excited for both of them...
...it wasnt the worst in my opinion. I mean look at Justin Guarini...he made it into the finals ...and he was awful....season 2 wasnt much better with Rueben/Clay....then Taylor won last year has done poorly
Every year people say it isnt that great....but we all keep watching it...lol

I agree with you! Sure, there were the good, the bad, and the ugly (I'll let you decide who was what!). But, yes, there didn't seem to be any shinning stars. Take Jordan, for example. Good voice, nice personality, but very ho-hum. She doesn't seem to be the type to rise to be another Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood - but you never know.
I guess every season can't be chocked full of great singers. I hope next January is better! I still can't wait; it's just too far away!

I think that Jordin did stand out from the very beginning... no one really thought that she had a chance because of her age...but it was not as entertaining as past seasons.

I agree --- it seemed like they focused too much on other things this season instead of the actual contestants.
I really thought Melinda was a great singer though.

I agree. The show was very dull. No major stand outs. I think they are just going through the motions now.....they need to change the show...just a bit. It's becoming a bit vanilla.

Sanjaya, for his lack of talent, was still the most memorable.
Once Doolittle got canned it stopped being a competition.

yes after taylor won last year i knew it was all downhill from there i only watched a few episodes this season
