The body on my 1991 s10 blazer 4 door rusted out right where the body mount is. This causes my door to rub on the quarter panel when opened or closed. How do i fix this. (its the mount right under the passenger floor in the front)

The only way to truly fix it is to cut out the old rusted metal and weld new metal in its place. Also, you can try adjusting the hinges on the door so it closes easier. I wouldn't pump a lot of money into this vehicle though,as you won't get it back when you sell or trade it. S-10 Blazers from this time period were notorious for rust issues, and their resale value isn't good as a result. Good Luck

Put a block of wood like a 2 x 4 between the body and the frame to go over the hole in the frame. You may have to jack up the body a little with a floor jack and some wood to get the body to lift enough away from the frame to do this.

You need to replace the floor, or at least the portion where the mount is with new body metal, and then reconnect the mount. You will need to lift the body above the mount to do this.
