i'm 37 and wear a 36 A; besides being built like a 12 year old boy (i have a big ole tushy though) must i endure a bra just to hide the misquito bites on my chest

No you shouldn't have to wear a bra !!! Why why should you wear a bra if you have nothing to support? That would be like you wearing a jock strap !!!! lol

Hmmm....loved the way you asked this.....I'll bet you have a really terrific sense of humor......anyway here goes....
I would say no. Back in the day (ah yes, the glorious Woodstock days) we used to use the 'pencil' test. Take an ordinary #2 pencil and place it directly under those lovelies...if it falls to the ground, the answer is no bra required. If the pencil stays high-and-tight, some sort of support mechanism is recommended but not required. That will be up to you.
Now for a more practical idea: breasts are composed of mostly fatty tissue and basically, from a physical standpoint, sit directly over the pectoral muscles. So if you do exercises to strengthen/build up those mighty pects, you will notice those lovelies sitting large and in charge....

Its called a training Bra. its to let them get used to having a bra on because they will need it when they grow up Bras are so the breasts dont bounce all over the place.

I think as long as they are perky enough and it's not totally 'nippy' then it doesn't matter.
