I tried that $1 per swear word doesnt really work (except i was able to pay an outstanding credit card bill) anyother tips? thanks

What's wrong with swearing when you're angry? It helps release stress and tension. I'd rather people think I have a foul mouth than a nice headstone!
Just be mindful of whom you are with when you do it. One way to curb it might be to learn profanity in other languages, which can be fun. Or, you could learn really intellectual, slightly silly words to use in place of profanity. For example, instead of calling the guy who just cut you off in traffic an a*s*s*hole, you could call him a "boorish lout!"
I've called people everything from a plebeian to a chimney sweep, and peasant is another favorite!
Hope you have a hell of a lot of fun!

Make up words that can substitute for cuss words. Such as instead of saying what the fu**, you could say what the fluff. Be imaginative with your words, being imaginative might make you want to use those words above curse words. Don't think cuss words in your mind, and don't be around them if all possible. I cuss sometimes, and I was thinking I could just substitute words and then stop saying those words all together because they are subsititution for cussing, but I still think cuss words.

It's a matter of simple will power. Just always be conscious of your words.

Here's an idea, when you get angry, hang out around a cop or a judge or anybody you would never curse in front of.

You could try pinching yourself really hard every time you swear. Or punishing yourself other physical ways, like no food when the next meal rolls around. It works with little kids. Or force yourself to eat something nasty. Soap, hot sauce something.

Believe it or not, if you hear it you'll say it. I would refain from watching movies with those words in them and avoid people who say them frequently. It's extreme, but it can help.

-Hold your tongue -Each time you swear, drive your self to scrub your mouth with cleaning soap -Lines: 'I is not going to swear' -$$$: whenever you swear, supply $one million to a targeted character (e.g. your mum) and she or he'll get wealthy off you :)
