Ok, so this guy knew I had a crush on him when I was a child. When that was the case, I'd always catch him staring at me out of the corner of his eye, so embarassing for me! We haven't seen each other in 10 years and now I look like a woman, ha, and he's look great too! He stopped me as I wasn't sure if it was him and we chatted for 30 minutes... and told me twice to email him sometime regarding if I ever needed a job. Now he also mentioned he's married, which is fine. But do you think it's just with maturity that he offered to help me with job findings even though he knew I used to crush hard on him? Is that strange or not a big deal?

Hmm... you know Riesling, you seem to have the most interesting dilemmas happen to you. =)

How much older is he then you or are you the same age? This sounds a lot like a situation that happened to me once... in that case i did offer to help her with a job and to be honest I did want to help her, but in the back of my mind I was also hoping that it could lead to something else. I think most guys are like that.. .even happily married ones. Its nice to surround yourself with people who like you and you like back. The trick is to avoid tempations and just keep it at friendship.

The wise thing to do would be not take a chance of temptation. On the other hand if you think you can just keep it professional and you really need the job then e-mail him. If it where me, I'd e-mail him... but as you know I am more of a risk taker them most.

It really Depends on what kind of guy he is...

He could be the type that just wants to keep in touch with you because he wants to get into your pants...
-OR-
He could be just a all around nice guy that actually liked your friendship and nicely offered to help if you needed a job...

To be honest i dont think that it is that big of a deal....
I just think that he was being nice...
Of course that is just my guess because i dont know the guy and no one will know what the guy is thinking...

He probably wants to sleep with you. The ball is totally in your court.
