The original publisher was Omaha Press. The reprint is through Health Communications, Inc.

it was originally published by the Omaha Press in Nebraska in 1993. in 1995 Health Communications of Deerfield Beach, FL published it.

i have never read a child called it but i have read a book called ugly by constance briscoe. it is a sort of autobiography inwhich she explains how she was abused and unloved by her mother and how she got through everything and ended up having a successful carer as a judge. Even if it is not suitable it is still a good read. also check out a book called damaged by cathy glass which is described as a story of a forgotten child and also 'Tell Me Why, Mummy' described as A Little Boy's Struggle to Survive. A Mother's Shameful Secret. The Power to Forgive. by David Thomas these are all about abuse but i am not certain the right sort so go to amazon and read any reveiws good luck x x x
