I couldn't get above 450 in math (but I had perfect verbal). It totally depends on you college too. Some look more at ref letters and activities than scores. A lot of schools are realizing that you can't measure someone's potential with a standardized test. So get a good strategy book, like Barron's, give it another go and you will probably do better. I did better when I took it again and even better a third time.

Your scores are a little higher than the national average, so I would consider taking it again. I got 2 perfect scores in math and reading, but my writing score was only 720, for a total of 2320. I only read this SAT guide, and that is how I got such high scores:

I recommend this guide to anyone seeking to get a higher score to get into a first choice college.

It is determined by what you wish to have it for. Presumably you are asking, seeing that you wish to have this expertise for purchasing into institution. Whether your rating is well or now not relies on the distinctive institution wherein you have got an curiosity. Colleges most commonly post the ordinary rankings of pupils who've been admitted to the college or who attend the college. So it can be nice to assess those rankings of colleges which can be of curiosity to you.

Depends. on you and your standards i guess, i mean you got a 1610, so its not horrible. it just depends where you want to go to college, or what you want to do. . . I mean, I'd be upset if I got a 1610, but thats just me, im upset now and I got an 1840 . So yeah, good luck .
This is like question of the day.
