Anyone else notice Mikail (Cyclops) on LOST has been killed off several times now...yet keeps getting up?

Very....Highlander-esque. With Richard not aging either...its got me wonderiing how long the island's pre-Darma people have actually been on that island...

I think the island's healing powers only work on certain people, including Locke and Mikhail(perhaps the "really good" guys). I am also curious as to how Richard hasn't seemed to age at all. Richard's people(the ones on the island before DHARMA) are known as the "hostiles."

I agree with Lisa M. I think the island has some great healing powers. But I think it's only for those "on the list". I wonder if Ben is on the list though, because he has aged. He came to the island as a boy. Although he was paralyzed and can now walk. Hmmm, I am Lost. I am coming up with more questions than answers.

Just another one of the many many mysteries on this show. I didn't think many other people noticed that. I am quite impressed you did. I noticed too. I am sure one of these days we might find out. Love that show. So creative. I am sad Charlie died. :( But then again you really never know what could happen with that either, so I have hope.

yeah - He seemed like he at least thought he was close to Ben. He is one of the original island inhabitants, like Richard. But the missing eye doesn't really fit with the healing powers of the island line. Why didn 't his eye get fixed? He does seem fearless running into death. Are they immortal? Don't know.

I kinda thought Richard would die last night as the actor is on one of the new fall shows.

I don't think that he ever really died. He just has amazing healing abilities. There's the obvious parts where he recovered from the sonic fence and the spear but also, that man gets punched, kicked, knocked out, chocked, just about everything you can think of and yet he recovers so quickly. I'm doubting that the grenade blowing up in his face was even enough to finish him off.
