Am going to be 37 weeks this saturday, and am supposed to have a scheduled c-section. My doctor said that am supposed to have a c-section around 38 weeks, but he hasnt given me the date or time yet! He said that at 36 weeks he will give me the date, but when i went and saw him tuesday, he said no i'll give you the date on 37 weeks. Thats just confusing.
How early was your c-section scheduled?

my doctor told me 7 days before I had mine told me on a monday that the following monday I would be having my baby

My sisters was scheduled at 20 weeks.. she knew for months. It depends on the doctor I guess. Sometimes they get behind and they need to schedule things a bit sooner to the date. Dont stress... even if you only know a day ahead of time, thats better than not knowing at all! Have your bags packed, and have everyone on speed dial... Just try and relax. This is a stressful time on you and baby, so dont let this consume you right now.

Mine was actually scheduled 3 weeks in advance because my daughter was breech.
Your doctor's office has to schedule this with the hospital, so there could be some issues there. I wouldn't worry about it. You can always ask the office manager at his office how they are scheduled.

depends on the doctor and their schedule...i don't think there is any "rule".
Mine - I had appt on a Wed (39-1/2 weeks or so) and my due date was that Sunday. At the Wed appt she scheduled me for Monday. But, I had my daughter on Sunday....

mine was one week early. my sisters was almost 2 wks early b/c she asked for a certain Dr. My cousins was about 1 1/2 wks early for the same reason.
Your Dr is probably trying to plan it when he has time. this doesnt mean he is working you aroung his golf games-he probably has many patients and needs a good time to schedule you.

confident! Pregnancies final 40 weeks for a reason and till you're having slightly because of the fact of intense blood rigidity and so on., then your scientific expert will time table it for as on the factor of your due date as attainable.
