I don't think that time heals at all. Recovery heals, but recovery takes time. Time isn't actually the important factor though. If you never do what you have to do then you very well may never be relieved of your pain.

Time can heal if you want to be healed. And the more effort you put the faster it heals. But if you don´t let go of the pain, you can not recuperate then it may take a lifetime and you eventually learn to live with the pain. It all depends on what it is and who is handling (remember pain is also addictive)

I think a little of both- time teaches you to deal with the pain so it can heal. I do think that there will always be a slight scar left behind though.

It depends upon the situation . . .
If it's pain from a relationship. I think time can heal the pain. You move on . . . meet other people, and get over it.
If it's due to the death of a loved one. I think it just teaches you how to deal with the pain. The person can never be replaced. They don't physically exist anymore, and I don't think you ever get over that.

it depends on how you try to heal. time can pass but with no effort of healing than no time cant heal. but if it teaches how to deal with pain then its a good thing. if you get hurt again you will know how to deal with the pain.

time just gives you the opportunity to learn to deal with the pain. it's all up to us how long it's actually going to take.
if you ignore the pain it will never really go away, so you could have all the time in the world, you'll still be running from the same thing.

In my opinion I don't think the pain ever really goes away. I think that you just learn to deal with it and learn how to manage the pain so that you can get on with your life.

time dulls the hurt if you work at it. if you keep the hurt close to you, it won't heal at all, but it will fester and grow. mental attitude is everything. do you want to be a martyr and a victim or do you want your life back? the pain might never completely go away, but it doesn't have to be a constant reminder of what was.

time can really heal, as it goes by you will meet more people, meet more challenges and be involved with more relationships thus making the former pain less dominant for you to feel, and eventually forgeting it
