Abortion is murder.
Check the statistics. The majority of women getting abortions are over 18 years old. Almost 50% of those getting abortions are not first timers.
Over one million abortions are preformed in the US each year. A very low percentage is due to rape or incest.
Women need to wise up and get on reliable birth control and use it consistently. They also need to stop having recreational sex outside of marriage.

I have a very strong opinion on this subject and I am going to start off by saying I am sorry in advance for anyone I may offend but this is my opinion. I am a woman and I DO NOT beleve in a womans right to choose I believe that a woman made her choice when she chose to lay down unprotected. There are to many alternatives these days. I believe abortion is a selfish cowardly way out. There are drop off points for unwanted children there is adoption do you know how many people are out there waiting on a child. I saw this on an anti abortion poster before and everytime I see it while driving to work I get teary eyed " every little girl deserves a birthday" The instant a child is conceived cells begin to develop and where there are cells and nreves there is pain. There is a book out I have read it and I suggest you all read it as well it's a true story of a girl who's mother had an abortion that failed and the child lived it's called "Gianna aborted and lived to tell about it". In the case of Rape I am sure it's a very tramatic thing to go through, but that is why they have the "morning after pill" In all cases of a sexual attack you should be seen in the ER not just for the sake of a morning pill but for the sake of your own health and the health of your loved ones. Like I said before Soory if I offended anyone it's only my opinion.

I disagree with it, mostly because the vast majority of people who have them are using abortion as a form of birth control. To kill a child out of convenience is awful. I guess i could see it if the child had a medical problem or the birth risked the mother's life. but that only covers like 2% of abortions.
I have a very good friend who had one and it almost killed our very close relationship. She did it cause the timing wasn't right for her to have a child. It broke my heart, especially since i had just lost a child to miscarriage not even a week before. It was my first and so far only child, though i hope to try again soon. My friend and i have reconciled our differences but it really was hard for me to watch her go through that. I think that people have the wrong motives most of the time for an abortion.

In cases of rape, either forceable or statutory, I agree with it.
In cases of significant abnormalities detected in utero, I agree with it. In cases where the pregnancy endangers the life of the mother-to-be, I agree with it. In cases where the conception is unwanted by both members of a married couple (church, civil, or common-law), I agree with it, but contraceptive counseling should be a requirement. In cases where the parents-to-be are not formally "attached" (i.e., just boyfriend-girlfriend), and the woman wants to have the procedure done, I agree with it, but both abortion and contraceptive counseling should be a requirement for both. In all cases except medical emergencies, the abortion should be carried out in the first term.
It is quite true that biological life begins at conception. Whether or not "human" life begins then is a philosophical question, depending upon the definition of "human". And whether or not unborn human life should be sacred is also a philosophical question, depending upon people's philosophy in general and religion in particular.
In a democratic society, we pride ourselves on promoting the concept of choice in many aspects of our lives, restricted only by societal, pragmatic laws we have decided to pass. The "Pro-Choice" approach to abortion gives everybody a choice in the matter. Those that are against abortion can choose not to have it done. Those that accept that there are some circumstances in which abortion is a sensible approach can choose to have it done. The "Pro-Life" approach to abortion seeks to remove that choice from everyone, based on philosophical and religious beliefs. It is an anti-democratic, dictatorial viewpoint, and I firmly disagree with it.

Abortion is a personal issue. Basically, a woman's body is an incubator for 9 months, so it should be the woman's choice. I know people say that if you abort a fetus it is murder. But, if a woman is raped and becomes pregnant with an unwanted child, chances are, forced to carry the child to term, she will resent the child she is carrying, and will not take care of herself or the baby she is carrying. This will lead to a child who will probably have lifelong health issues, be a drain on society, and be unwanted and unloved. Best case scenario, the child will be OK, but will live with the stigma of being an unwanted child of rape.
Do I believe abortion is right? Not really. It is terminating a life, no matter how you look at it. However, there are circumstances surrounding EVERY pregnancy, which leads back to my original statement: Abortion is a personal issue.

I agree with it to a point. I never thought that I would be able to have one but about 3 years ago I did. I don't agree if people are going to use it as a form of birth control. There are specific reasons why I believe one might have one, for instance rape, molestation, health reasons due to mom's health, if there is something serious with the baby and a mentally unstable family. These are just my opinions and I believe that every individual should make there own decision on what is best for them.

Do you agree with it? I don't necessarily agree with it, because pregnancy can be avoided. I now only agree with it in terms of medical threats.
Do you disagree with it? Because most women have them for very selfish reasons.
Are you not sure about it? Depends on the situation.
Why? Who am I to judge. I just think if it is going to be done, it should not happen after 1 1/2 months.

It's barbaric & should only be used if necessary. Use birth control! There are SO many pre-natal and b/c options these days that few NEED to abort. Catastrophic deformities &terrible birth defects aside, healthy babies need not be aborted..putting an infant up for adoption is always a better option. Having genetic counseling & having amnio are always available. The help is there for those who look.

It is actually black and white. No matter how the female got pregnant {too young, rape, adultery, etc...} the baby is a life form created by God. God is the only One who can give life, why should any man or woman have the right to take it away? Abortion is not only wrong, it is a sin, it is murder. With so many people in this world who want to adopt, why would you kill a baby when there is family who would be more than happy to give him/her a loving home?

I believe that it should be used in certain circumstances. It should not be used as a form of birth control. Too many girls are having abortions just bc they fail to protect themselves properly and dont want to deal with the consquences. I do believe that it would be ok if you were raped, abused, health risks to you/baby, or if you are in the middle of a divorce from an abusive marriage and find out that you are pregnant. I think that it should be left up to the female.
