Looking at the record book, and amount of games played without injury, I say Dan Marino, by a long shot. Dan may not have any Super Bowl wins, yet no one person can win a SB by there self. Had he played for the Niners or Broncos, in the 80s, he would have had some rings.

Statistically it would be Dan Marino although he will be surpassed by Peyton Manning. There is no one to control the field and tempo of the game like Manning but I would not consider him as the best on wins and poise. Joe Montana not Tom Brady would control that category, Montana came back in games like he had all the time in the world, somebody that stayed in the pocket and ran out only to allow his receiver more time to run his route not to avoid a sack. Manning has some of the best receivers but those of you who say that he was better because he had those receivers must not remember the best receiver of all time Jerry Rice. Montana also had several other star receivers John Taylor, Dwight Clark ( The Catch), and a roll out back like Roger Craig.

Peyton Manning!! He already broke Marinos 50 TD passes in a season a couple years back, which stood for twenty years. (nothing Favre or Elway never did) and also beat Montanas combo TD to a receiver record with Marvin Harrisson that stood for like 15 years I think. (Montana and Rice held that) But Peyton will go down as the best.

I'm going with Steve Young, he was an amazing quarterback in his prime. He could scramble and he had a wicked arm. He was also extremely efficient and i think he has the highest career passer rating in NFL history. Steve Young and Jerry Rice was the greatest QB and WR tandem in NFL history. The '94 49ers team was one of the greatest Superbowl teams ever.

The best qb ever has to be Joe Montana because simply he won. He was a winner. Three superbowls and put up great stats. The best qb right now is Tom Brady because just like Montana he is clutch and wins superbowls and puts up great stats.

I would have to go with Montana. A lot of people will say Peyton Manning, but I think if Peyton didn't have the receivers he has, he would not be the same QB.
Manning would not do anywhere near as well as Tom Brady if he had the receivers that Brady has had over the years.
