I think normally is around 20-25... I don't recommend that age though or looking at a time line. If you rush yourself, you won't be happy. Hold out for however long it takes to find the right man, I promise you will regret it if you don't. I have been there.

Twenty years ago the average age was 20, now it's 25 according to the Today Show. They just did a story that included this topic.

I'm not sure you're going to find an average.
However I think the smart woman or man would wait until they're at least 25 so that they can at least experience life a bit before making such a commitment.
Don't confuse life before 18 with life after 18 either. Going thru childhood is not experiencing life.

Few genuinely everyone seems to be mature sufficient in the previous the age of 20 or so which you may desire to get married. however the real question isn't one in each and every of age, yet somewhat of adulthood and accountability, as a results of fact marriage takes the two. And if the two companions are no longer sufficiently person of their questioning and behaviour, opportunities are high that the marriage will fail. you may additionally be clever to take it sluggish to get to correctly known the different person, and not be confronted with some vast surprises after the marriage. i comprehend human beings of 30 that could desire to no longer be married as a results of fact they're immature and irresponsible.

On average, from 2000 to 2003, the median age at first marriage (MAFM) for men and women was 27 and 25 years, respectively.
The MAFM for both men and women is generally higher in states in the Northeast than the national average.

Of course, it's been rising a lot in the past 30-50 years.

I dont really know but, my guess would be mabey 19 to 27?? I dont think that there is a certain age that people should get married at though. I think that when you are ready to get married, you should get married! As long as you know that your in love and you can see yourself spending the rest of your life with that person, I dont think that it matters if your 18 or 81! I dont think that marriage is something that you should rush into but, if you know that you found the one.. get married! lol! Thats just my opinion though!

For a higher divorce rate, somewhere between 16 and 25.
For creating off spring, 23 to 35.
For a mature relationship, 33 on up.
For gold digger purposes, female:18 to 28, for a male that's 25+ years older.
