The girls have a tough time, but they sometimes do it. Retrieve a 10 LB diving weight at the 16 ft pool bottom, First swim down, then pick up the weight with both hands, swim to the surface using your legs only. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PUSH OFF THE BOTTOM TO SURFACE. Kicking ONLY. It takes me usually about 1 minute, but then again I can stay underwater for over 4 minutes per dive. Anyone try this?

I played water polo, so this was one of the many leg power tests I had to do. I could probably do it in under 20 seconds. The hardest test I ever did was to get a 5 gallon water container (from a water cooler) filled with water and draining it while in the water. If you get really good, you will be able to do it in one try, but most people who can even do it will drain it a little bit at a time.

yes i have tryies it i was a life gaurd for 8 years. the whole point it to train the lifegaurd how to keep a victim above the water in a deap area. If you are training the lifegaurd who are girls to do this and the girls are strugling with it tell them they need to learn it but they can use one hand to help. other wise if this is just a game i would think about trying some outher game with the girls then.
