It was a hot summer day. Everything was quiet, not a soul in sight. I tried to move around but could not budge. Little did I know until that night there was no friction not a bit in sight. It was like a day missed caused by no movement.

This sounds like an interesting question but I'm not entirely certain what you mean. Do you want examples of specific things that continue without end within a 24hr period? Do these things need to be literal or can they be figurative? We really need more information to answer this question. However, the first thing that popped into my brain was "Time".
