I think there will be an incident of some sort.

I also have been wondering if W Bush will pull a H W Bush - will he send US troops to Darfur in December 08 like his dad sent US troops to Somalia in December 92? And would that be a good or a bad thing?

Bush knows that would improve his poll ratings. Despite the damage Bush's Iraq War has done to our military, it is still capable of kicking the *** our of Iran's army. (The apparent "failure" in Iraq is only because our military does not have a military mission there. There is no way they can defeat the phantoms infesting Bush's mind.) After we destroy Iran's army, Bush could declare "victory" and withdraw as a hero. Never mind that the "victory" would do nothing to help America, it would definitely help Bush's popularity.

I think it's Iran that's causing the war. They have already stated they want to destroy Israel. How do you "start" a war with someone that says they will destroy you?
