Our wireless network didnt have the proper secruities. So someone who could pick it up, used ours and then set a password to it or some secruity to it. Now my family cannot get on. How do I get passed that, or hack into the password or something. It asks for a Network key to connect. Any help would be great.

Reset the router back to its factory defaults and then change the login username and password to something only you know. Then setup your own wireless security so they cant leach your internet bandwidth.

Simple
Start from scratch
Reset the router by holding down the reset button in the back with a pin for 30 seconds or so.
Go back to your manual
start from scratch
If you want to leave your router open ( no security enabled) make sure that you change the admin password to get into the router's control panel.
If you cannot remember or cannot find the manual go to the website of the company and look up the manual.

You're not going to be able to hack into it, but you should be able to reset the router, which includes the password. You might need something like a paper clip, there should be a reset button on the router. Make sure you set up proper securities when you get it back up!

Well you aren't gonna beable to just hack into that network now that it has a pass on it you have to tell us what type of router you have b/c you need to type that address into your IE (internet explorer ) and hopefully a box comes up and just put admin for username and admin as password or don't type anything there just try if you can't do that turn off the router and take it back for another one =) or just call the police b/c it's against the law to use another person's internet = ) good luck

if you physically have the router in your home, just use the reset button. (located on the back or the bottom)
leave the router on, and hold the reset button for 15 seconds.
then it will reboot and all settings will be erased.

It will reset the router back to factory settings. Then you can go back in and make a new password.
- You will lose all your settings, and have to re enter them again.

You're going to have to reset the router and set up your network again, but when you do set up security settings and make the password something that is not the default it comes with.

Look for a reset button on the back. Hold it in for 30 seconds.
