I have a blog (http://helpandtools.blogspot.com) and I give out FREE Computer Help & Tools + FREEBIES. The problem is that I also have a mailing list in which I'm planning to give out how-to articles, coupons, news and updates, more freebies, tools, awesome links, and many other things but I don't know how to get people to join it. :( Yeah that makes me so sad because I literally have sooo much to give out. Anyways please help me come up with a way to get people to join my list. Please visit my blog and check it out and join if you'd like...I need help with this guys thanks to all who reply!

Now, I will be honest, and I hope, not to hurt your feelings or to offend you:
To create/improve participation in a site/blog such as yours, first of all, you have to *prove* to the readers that you offer something unique that they may not discover elsewhere! I may find your free software descriptions, even, by looking through Yahoo! Answers or through *the mere results* of carefully formatted Google searches.
Secondly, you must *prove* your competence. With those blog entries, at the top, before the enthusiastic descriptions of the free software, place terse, detailed, well-written (and I mean *well* written!!!) articles on computer methods, based on your unique expertise. You know a secret someone else may not have discovered? Share it! Save someone some time!
Third: feature, at the top, visibly, at first sight, prominently, some links to your favorite websites, especially your like-minded friends who have similar abilities. In return, have them link to *your* website. Trade and increase traffic!
In summary, you have to provide something that will not only make a reader feel, not only *attracted* to your site. You need to make the reader feel it is *necessary* to visit your blog. Write often and write well. Keep your own knowledge up to date. Learn new tricks. Share them!

use spider link in your web pages that way you will have response. Sorry mate dont have time to check your blog or any sites.
