The guys I meet, act like I should honored that they want to talk to me, when I tell them I don't even date white men. Has anyone else noticed this?

From looking at the first two comments and knowing more will come, I see you people are slow and don't comprehend. Because if you notice, I DID NOT say all white people. What a bunch of losers.

First guy (Peter D) if you look anything like your avatar, I don't think you have to worry. No woman would want you anyway.

Hmm - well the ones who do probably have a superiority complex. sort of like all the white men who raped black slavewomen back in the day.
I'm white and I am attracted to blacks and latinas, but i don't assume they want me or anything, lol.

A lot of guys and females are attracted to people of a different race. I've had numerous white guys hit on me but they never act like I should honor them. Some of them just want to see what it's like kinda like an experimenting with something.

Peter D needs to shut the #$% up. Black women has nothing on a white man, some of us just have preferences.

It could be for a number of reasons. My guess is that, it depends on who the person is looking at. If you are not white, but look like you may have white in you, that person may feel comfortable approaching you. It could also be that the white person approaching you feels that if you are not totally African American, then it's ok regardless if your skin color is a little darker than theirs. Just my guess :) I am not white so I can't say for sure. :) If they have the attitude that you should be honored to talk to them, then they are not worth the time of day regardless of their race/color. That attitude says that they believe they are above all others and that's just asking for trouble.

Well, hopefully not all white men act this way...but I am sure most do. For some reason some men think they are a gift to women, I dont know why.

lol, its not just white guys who act like that. There are more black, Asian, and Mexicans that hit on me then white guys and I'm not attracted to them at all. So its not just you, white girls deal with the same thing and I'm sure with black girls also. And i doubt that they act like that you should be honored that you are talking to someone who is a different nationality than you, I think its just that they are attractive to you. There is nothing wrong with that. I'm sure guys deal with the exact same thing as us.

Damn, you've got me. I "guess" they think have "something" that is attractive to the opposite sex.

I think people should start posting where they're from because when you live in a major metropolitan city like I do (NYC) you have so many different kinds of people you see different behavior from different people.

Where and who did you experience this with? Were they older, younger, educated, well to do, etc.

Wow, two race-oriented comments in one sentence. Congratulations.

Why do black women act like they have something on me? It's not as if I would ever want to date them because I don't date black women.

Sounds pretty ignorant doesn't it?
