There are many unusual features about this 'third rock from the Sun,' but I have time for only one, and that is the unusual liquid known as water!
Water is a very unusual material in our Solar System, and it has lots of perculiar properties, and many scientists have finally concluded that it is a MUSTcomponent for the development of life! There would be no life to be found elsewhere in the Solar System, without it!!!
The search for life in our solar system has now turned into the search for water. Where ever water existed in a liquid form, life may have developed and thrived. The most likely candidate at present is Europa, one of Jupiter's icey moons. It is thought that geological activity could result in a warm water ocean beneath its frozen surface. The rarity of liquid water is another indication of how lucky we are here on Earth. Our tiny planet contains so much water that if the Earth was a perfectly smooth sphere it would be covered by a single ocean 2.8 kilometres deep.

Its a very Unique Creation with a greater number of elements and compounds as compared to other celestial bodies. It has been well designed to support all biological life.It is the starting point where we take all relative measurements of natural phenomena.

Even though it looks like its in the shape of a circle it isnt and it goes around the sun tilted and it has life like no other planet have and its also has the compexity factor.

The oceans. It is the only planet we know of that has large oceans of water, or any open bodies of water at all.
And oxygen in the air. Earth is the only planet that we know of with large quantities of free oxygen in the air. Or really any free oxygen at all.

What constitutes 'unusual'? Do you mean different from the small number of other planets we've observed in our own solar system?
