Doctors and hospitals can give you a due date but how many times is the due date the actual date the baby is born?! I would plan on the month of June to have the baby. It is pretty much up to the baby when it is time to come. Just be prepared a few weeks in advance and don't worry about having a pin pointed due date.

It might not make too much of a difference, with it only being a week, the baby will come when it wants, if you're worried about getting to big and going past your due date the doctor will monitor you very closely in those last few days and can determine what they feel would be the ast option. But in general you'll go when the baby wants so the due date can just be an approximate date.

Due date is just a guess on when you will be consider full term, its never exact, your baby could be born before or after the due dates, I was given 3 different due date when i had an ultrasound done, when i was pregnant with my 3 child, my doctor kept saying she was due march the 7th ,BUT the ultrasound print out sheet had 3 different due dates,LOL
when somone would ask when was my baby due, I always told them that my baby was due in the end of February, because i refuse to carry her longer then that,LOL, well my water broke February the 29, (LEAP YEAR) so I got what i ask for!!

well my due date in the hospital (a month before i went to the doctor) was sept. 16th and my doctor gave a a due date of sept. 23. when i ment to get my ultrasound done they said that by my baby girls size that my due date is about the sept 23. im going with the 23. if you had an ultra sound then your doctor would have told you if they think they were wrong. but they can be off a week early or late. Good luck and best wishes! :) -Ams

They're most likely giving you your due date based on the size of the baby. That's how they give you an estimated due date at 8 weeks pregnant via ultrasound. Your guess is as good as mine when it comes to telling you which date is correct. I guess if/when June 5th comes and goes, you will know that your due date is June 11th! It's just a guess anyway...I think I've read that only 15% of pregnant woman actually deliver on their due date. It's coming soon though...congrats! My due date is June 4th!

Were either of these days calculated by the ultrasound? When you get an ultrasound, they measure the baby, and can provide a pretty accurate due date. My doctor advised that unless this new due date was more than a week off of the initially calculated due date, they wouldn't change the date.

It starts from the first day of your last period. My doctor told me my due date was September 11th. I went to the hospital for another ultrasound(my doctor wanted to make sure the babys heart was ok, because he couldn't tell by his ultrasound) And the people at the hospital said my baby was measuring a week ahead. I guess I won't know which one was correct because he came in the middle of August.

Did you have an ultrasound done? And you can be actually due within a week either way of your June 5th date that the hospital gave you!

Well, due dates are just an estimate and both of your due dates are within a week of each other, so either one will be fine. My due date kept fluctuating between 7 days because they use measurements to determine and the average of those estimates. It doesn't seem to be such a big gap. Just know your baby will probably come within those dates. Good luck with your pregnancy.

Not very many women actually have their baby on the actual due date - it's always just an estimate, and they say two weeks early or two weeks late is on time. Take a day in the middle of the two (say the 8th) and then give your self a two week wiggle room in either direction.
