Yes I have, it has something to do with the way the light waves reflect of the ground, and there's all sorts of colors involved. I've been there about 2 times and I never saw anything, it's very rare to see. There is always people there waiting to see it, most nights will be disappointing but I've heard there is nights where there's a rainbow of colors. I think it has something to do with the "aurora borealis"? I'm not sure, there's myths that it's the ghosts of the Spanish Conquistadores wandering the vast desert. It's by a really tiny town, Valentine, Texas btw.

Ball lightning or swamp gas found outside of Marfa, Texas. Many believe them to be ghosts or spirits.

yeah i've got heard one in each and every of them although that's advise & i will probable get a great variety of thumbs down yet i will say it anyhow ... how many mexicans does it take to screw in a easy bulb? -would not count number, none of them can attain the easy bulb anyhow
