I don't care if you are pro Bush or anti- Bush, but I have to ask what planet are some pro - Bush people from? If one is pro - Bush and cites some accomplishments, thats fine by me. Aren't these types of justifications strange to anyone else?
1. Bush is doing "god's will"
2. He invaded Iraq because "they bombed us" ( the bombers were Saudi citizens and we are chummy with them).
3. President Bush is only doing "what he thinks is best for the country" , that naive courtesy was never afforded Clinton ( I believe NEITHER party does what they feel is best for the country , rather appeal to their own interest groups)
4. Bush as pope pius, "he is a good man", as if that is either necessarily true or a jsutification for any specific action?
5. the one I love is "If we went to Iraq for oil , then why is the price of oil so high", hilarious logic ( forget the fact that oil companies are making record profits, contractors earning billions and that the ever shrinking SUPPLY of oil.........

Shortly before the 1st Gulf War, Bush Sr went to Texas & gave a speech where he promised to do something about the low oil prices (at the time, marginal wells were being capped because of the low prices). He said he didn't know what he'd do about it but he'd "do something." Two or three weeks later, Saddam met with Bush's ambassador who gave him the green light to invade Kuwait. When Saddam did invade Kuwait, Bush surprised the world by declaring that America would go to war to protect Kuwait. (Kuwait's a kingdom, not a democracy. We recovered the king's gold toilet seat. Women are 2nd-class citizens in Kuwait, with much lower status than women had in Saddam's Iraq. Most of the work in Kuwait is done by ill-treated "guest-workers" from other Arab countries. Kuwait owns 10% of the U.S. defense industry.) The Gulf war caused a spike in oil prices. Mission accomplished. Bush Jr has done an even better job of jacking up oil prices. Like father like son.

interior the 'Goblet of hearth', i presumed the demise Eater's costumes could be a sprint diverse, yet i'm pleased with them. i became disapointed that there became no sphinx interior the maze! I HATE 'The Order of the Phoenix', in basic terms by way of fact they did no longer show Slytherin's locket and that's the biggest merchandise interior the action picture. I had to describe to all my acquaintances why it is so significant, so they comprehend approximately it interior the 6th action picture. Daniel Radcliffe truthfully resembles Harry Potter, so heavily it extremely is frightening! I imagined Lupin very in any different case. i'm shocked they made the action picture character that wiped sparkling up.

If he is on a mission from god I have been on one all my life then, at least I served when I was called upon, unlike the arm chair President and Vice President, who seem to ingore all advice and run it their way as it is their war of choice, was it ever declared a war and an occupation, I thought the MISSIION was ACCOMPLISHED, according to a speech and banner on an aircraft carrier over 4 years ago, along with a speech stating that also, from a make believe piolt that knows how to be AWOL when called upon our decider, the president. Them and their financial interest groups are taking us US taxpayers for everything we have, and killing our soilders, and the citizens of Iraq. The lies and smoke screens and distractions are really hurting the whole world.

Despite the fact that I've rolled my eyes a time or two at pro-Bush statements and, quite frankly, excuses, people are entitled to their own opinion. Just because you don't agree with them doesn't mean that they are "smokin'" something, it just means that you have a difference of opinion.
I was watching the political segment of the local news last night, and the political correspondent brought up the fact that Mitt Romney is trying to gain votes because he is the conservative (for this election anyway) that survived in the "liberal zoo" of Massachusetts. My point? I'm not a liberal monkey and the person that you are referring to isn't necessarily high. We just have a difference of opinion. We shouldn't attack people for their freedom of speech and expression just because we don't agree with it.

You are so right! The "conversations with God" is a good one, too. He didn't just say he was doing God's will--he said God "told him to..." That's really scary coming from the "head of the free world."
BTW, if you think these answers are "disrespectful" (or that the question is....), you haven't been on YA! very long, have you? I have been called everything from a "puke" to a "dried up old c__t" (with the "C" word spelled out!!!), by those very "respectful" and "family oriented" "Christian" Conservatives!!!!

I don't care if you are pro-Bush or anti-Bush, how about a little common courtesy and allowance for the free expression of everyone?
Just because some people cannot express themselves in a manner which is palletable to you does not give you the excuse to belittle their free speech.
Try asking a question about politics. Instead of a question attacking other users.

EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion. I could really care less if you like him or not. Either if you like him or not you should still respect him. For gods sake he is our president and he is doing the best he can do. You try to run the country...and see how difficult it is.

Great points. Remember Cons are experts as spinners so anything that holds the slightest truth they will try to spin in Bush's favor, often resulting in some hilarious beliefs like the ones you just mentioned.
