Who was it that Jack went to see in his flash forward that was in te coffin and no one else went to see?

I think it is someone we do not know.
When Jack was talking to Kate he said that he felt guitly for what they did. Maybe they killed someone and that is that person funeral..

If you can find the links that are circulating that show a freeze frame of the clip, the dead person is male. The name is on a fold in the paper, but you can see Jo - and then the last name ends with -antham. That is what is leading most people to go with Locke . Kate said "why would I go?" Jack said it was neither family nor friend. Those are the clues I picked up.

I think either Sawyer or Locke. Neither had many friends or family off the island. And I think when Kate said he'll be wondering where I am, I think maybe she was referring to the son that her and Sawyer had. Remember Sawyer wasn't exactly thrilled at the possibility of Kate being pregnant. He probably skipped out on her. Plus the funeral was in a pretty ghetto part of town, where con artists might live??

I think the only one it could be is Juliet, because Jack cares about her but Kate doesnt because Jack chose Juliet over her. No one was there because Juliet was an other all of her life, so it makes perfect sense that its her. Did anyone get what the newspaper said, maybe if someone could get the text they could figure it out for sure.

My guess is that it's not ben, he wouldn't have been upset like that. It wasn't his dad cause he was already dead and his mom would have been there. It wasn't juliet b/c he wouldn't have been so late if you ask me, i just don't think it was her. I don't think it was walt either cause he doesn't seem to attached to them to be so sad and his mom would have been there. I don' t know who it was. the coffin was to small for sawyer...

A child, someone's child born on the island or from islanders...but whose parents didn't make it, and Jack brought the child back.

I think it was Locke's funeral. He has no real family and Kate has never really cared for him. It would make sense to me.

I think if the casket contained either Locke, Sawyer or Ben.
That's why he was so distraught by it.
