I asked the other day "Do you want to put your digits in my venus fly trap? It's hungry!" What is wrong with that. A digit is a finger or toe, a fly trap is a plant. Then they also suspended my account. My email, 360 and everything works, I just can't use Y answers. It tells me my account is suspended and to feel free to browse in the mean time. What is that supposed to mean? So I started up a new one. I don't get this place.

I have actually had this account for a little while. Just really never used it.

it's best just to open a new account.. They deleted one of the questions i had asked. It was a serious q. But they deleted it and suspended me.. THEN i wrote them to ask what was wrong with it.. They sent me a email that told me to read the guidelines... Like i didn't do that already.. What had happened was there was this person who found it. Didnt like me and kept hitting the complaint button.. Weird... i guess if they have all kinds or just a few complaints they do that without actually reading the q. and or comment..

After reading your 'now' question and your 'then' question, I went to the guidelines and read them and it looks like someone took offense to your question and reported it. Someone usually has to report these things, it would be almost impossible for Yahoo! to read every post. What I think happened was someone translated your question in their mind as a dirty question. Not the literal one as plant and fingers you said you intended. I'm sorry this happened to you but I found a lot on the guidelines that I had read when I joined but had forgotten so I got a refresher course.

"Response to violations. Yahoo! reserves the right to remove content that we determine to be inappropriate and/or in violation of the Yahoo! Answers Community Guidelines,Yahoo! Community Guidelines, or the Yahoo! Terms of Service. Depending on the level of offense, you may risk deactivation of your Yahoo! ID and consequently everything associated with it, including email accounts, groups, posts, homepages, and profiles. If you are unsure whether your content is appropriate or consistent with these policies, please err on the side of caution and do not post it in Yahoo! Answers. Questions and Answers may not appear on all Yahoo! Answers sites."

You're lucky. They deleted my Answers account, my 360 page, and my email account that I had for 5 years. I was told I had "multiple postings for adult content", after I posted a question using the words backseat love.

I also posted on the violations board, the forum, and answers-abuse email. 41 testimonials on my behalf were posted, but Yahoo deleted all of them and upheld my deletion. Good luck to you.

Also, this is my 55th account, the rest all suspended. It sucks.

All it takes is for one person to register a violation against you and chances are you'll lose points. It's a matter of luck, weather or not you have a person like that checking you out.

I've gotten two violations, neither that I could see violated anything. I protested both, we will see. I haven't heard anything. I think suspending you is crazy, I can't even see you getting a violation. Good luck.

Someone asked what the difference was between an alcoholic and a drug addict. I answered, "the munchies," and got a violation for it. I think they are still mad at my last Pure Evil account.

That's crazy! I'd contact them to see why. I wrote them to ask why I got a violation notice for posting that I didn't understand a joke I read.
