I assume you're using windows!

Go to file explorer...Click Tools on the menu bar...choose Folder Options.

That brings up the Folder Option dialog box...choose the View tab.

In the Advance Setting box...the fifth line down says:

Hidden Files and Folders

Under it are two choices:

Do not show hidden files and Folders
Show hidden files and Folders

Click the radio button next to Show hidden files and Folders

Then click Apply and then click OK...

You should now be able to see all the files on your hard drive...

Open Folder Options in Control Panel.

Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Click Appearance and Themes, and then click Folder Options.
On the View tab, under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.

Be careful in there. There are legitimate reasons why some files and folders are hidden such as to avoid accidental removal or corruption of critical operating system files.

right click on the start button and click explore.

At the top click on tools, then click on 'folder options'.

Click on the view tab.

Find the bit in the scroll box which says 'hidden files and folders' click in the circle which says Show hidden files and folders. Click apply then click on ok.

WARNING DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING HIDDEN UNLESS YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT IS. Files are generally hidden so the user doesn't mess around with them, there are many hidden folders used by windows which if you delete means the computer will not work correctly, or may not even start. Make sure you know its your dads folders if you are going to delete them.

Id advise hiding the folders again after you have checked to make sure you dont delete any essential files by accident.

go to my computer and click on "tools" and then "folder options". From there go to "view" and there should be a whole list of options, one of which will be "show hidden files" or "do not show hidden files".
