Wow. Just one? In politics? The South is full of blue dog Democrats and I would rather know them than some of the blue blood Republicans.
Our Democratic governor, Phil Bredesen, just took apart the biggest socialist program in Tennessee.
Honest people are always people I like and enjoy being around.
People are people. Politics is politics. What I cannot abide by is hypocrisy. And that seems rampant in modern liberalism.

Joe Lieberman: He dares to be different, he's a democrat who isn't afraid to go against the popular belief amongst his party... I admire a person who will risk it all to stick to what he truly feels is right.

Billy Carter,Jimmy's bro. Although he died in 1988 he is the best loved Democrat,( by all Republicans), that ever lived. I loved" Billy Beer" too, while it lasted.

Joe Liebermann, due to his intelligent comments on a variety of issues, regardless of the "party line". He's one of the few democrats worthy of respect.
