Do I care if the pool guy or the yard man go home ,get drunk and hit their kids and wife .
Not my business what peoples personnel lives are about .
Ted Kennedy has worked and passed so many pieces of legislation over the past 40 years it is hard to think that our nation is not better for it . He is but one of many politicians with long careers that have produce positive results for all Americans .

Wow. Just one? In politics? The South is full of blue dog Democrats and I would rather know them than some of the blue blood Republicans.

Our Democratic governor, Phil Bredesen, just took apart the biggest socialist program in Tennessee.

Honest people are always people I like and enjoy being around.

People are people. Politics is politics. What I cannot abide by is hypocrisy. And that seems rampant in modern liberalism.

Joe Lieberman: He dares to be different, he's a democrat who isn't afraid to go against the popular belief amongst his party... I admire a person who will risk it all to stick to what he truly feels is right.

Lieberman....Also JFK He had the courage to stand up to the USSR in the face of possible nuclear attack. If only there was a dem like him today, I would probably vote for him(or her).

Billy Carter,Jimmy's bro. Although he died in 1988 he is the best loved Democrat,( by all Republicans), that ever lived. I loved" Billy Beer" too, while it lasted.

Joe Liebermann, due to his intelligent comments on a variety of issues, regardless of the "party line". He's one of the few democrats worthy of respect.
