my dog has been successfully potty trained but there is a smell or urine to our carpet any ideas on how to get it out?

Try baking soda, just rub it into the carpet...it should get rid of the smell.

Odor Ban is a good one, you can purchase it from Sam's Club. Nature's Miracle is another good one, you can purchase that from any petstore. Another goody is vinegar (it neutralizes the acid in urine.)
