I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant and I'm going in for my ultrasound next week. My husband is deployed and I want to find a cute and creative way to tell him the sex of our baby.

Hey-
I know all about husbands being deployed! If I were you I would get him a father's day card (since father's day card is next month)... You can find one that is from a son or daughter... I think that would be a nice way to find out.

Well, are you going to be telling him over the phone or in a letter? A creative way you could tell him how great of a father he will be to a baby *boy or girl* and it will make him feel sooo happy no matter what the sex if you guys were hoping for a specific one or if he was. This isn't so complicated that you aren't able to do it either, it's simple to the point but also has a creative touch. Good Luck!

If it's let's say... a boy... You could send him a 1st birthday card for a little boy but make it out to him. Also include a care package with little GI Joe toys, those little cars and trucks, baby things that are blue... you can get most of that stuff pretty cheap (just incase anything gets lost). Also a Mix CD of songs like, Take me out to the ballgame... ect. If you get to talk to him via video (ie: if he can see you) you can get a blue t-shirt at Wal-Mart or Target and get some iron on decals or lettes and iron onto the shirt, It's A BOY!
If it's a girl you can do the same things, just in pink and girly things.

A few good ones,
pink or blue paper,
a shirt that says Daddy's (girl or boy)
baby doll for a girl or a toy tool set for a boy
some of these things may be hard to mail, if your going to do it on the phone, maybe record a little girl or boy saying HI DADDY, I think that would be cute. if by mail cut a picture out of a magazine or online and put your face on a girl and his face on a boy,hope these help.Good Luck

Get a doll from the store, thrift store or from a neighbor. Go to the baby store and buy a little baby onesie. Get one that says "Little Slugger" if its a boy or if its a girl, get one that says, "Princess." Put the shirt on the doll and send a picture, video, drawing or the actual doll to him! That would be fun.
FYI, you know that unless they CLEARLY see the sex (between the legs) that you're not going to be 100% sure, right? But this really helps: http://www.babywaves3d.com

Go to a t-shirt shop and have the sex of the baby printed on the shirt. Come up with some catchy phrase...like I'm carrying daddy's lil' boy or I'm carrying daddy's future lil' princess only u know your husband. Then take a pic of your wearing it then email or mail it to him.

well my husband was deployed when I found out we were having a girl I went to the halmark store and found a greeting card that said "i miss you Daddy "it was pink and pretty but they had blue ones too i signed it with the name we had pick out for a girl. if you dont have a name picked out yer just sign it from Daddys Lil Girl or from Daddys lil man or what ever cute little nickname you can come up with also send the ultra sound pic in the card

( tuesday)...im sooooo excited im beyond myself dont forget to drink some juice before hand so he/she is awake with my first one they couldnt tell cause mr sleepy wouldnt open his leggs...!!!! bummer he's not going with you!! hmmm lets see here, a way to tell your hubby... well you can do something cute with the ultrasound pic cause they will give you one ussualy with a little arrow pointing to the genetal saying either im a boy or girl.......have a mug made and put his ( if he drinks it) coffee in it or a mouse pad... or a t shirt and wear it around the house nonchallant t shirts are ussualy printed fast ...
