I think the fourth season will be reveal that they are off the island, but it seems that Jack wants to go back to the island, but who knows? just post your ideas here for next season.

I didn't catch til the end that this was a flash forward, not a flash back. Ben told him that everything would be ruined if he made that call. Jack has such a savior complex, my thought is that they return to the normal world and they all start to die off. Jack takes it personally cuz he made the choice to get them off the island. This destroys him as we saw. The funeral may have been for one of the Losties. Possibly Sawyer.
Kate seemed fine, but Jack lost it. One glitch that I saw was that Jack mentioned his father was at the hospital still working. That was the one thing that didn't really fit with my understanding of all that was happening. Or, is Jack just so drugged up that he doesn't remember that his father died?
Jack did make the call, so unless Desmond or Locke can stop them, they're probably going to get on the boat and return. I don't really want to see a season off the island, but it may work out for us all. :)
-- Now we see why Walt had to leave the show, he ages more obviously than the adults do and the show is moving on a much slower timeline. :) I thought it was funny to see Walt growing up.

Is there going to be one? When I thougt Syhid was dead, I just kept thinking, if this comes on next season I'm not watching. But, my boy is still alive, so I'll sit though another tense season.

Mary there is a total of six seasons with 48 episodes total.
I do not know what is going on but I can't wait for season four.
