I learned as a child, that I am not a good liar. I look to the right when I lie. Even though I know this, I cannot stop from doing it. I did tell a lie when I was 15 and to this day I have not told the person, yeah I still know them, the truth. I have always harbored quilt over this lie. It may be the reason I find it very difficult to lie, even small lies, like you dress doesn't look that bad. I feel compelled to tell them how bad it really does look.
My children, family and friends do not ask me anything unless they want the truth.

I cant....not at all...not even for a second, unless i really, really have to and i know there is no other way to spare the feelings of someone that i care about...and then i would embrace that lie for as long as it takes, to protect the ones i love.
