What's a fun summer job?

if i work at a camp...i have nowhere to stay...i go out of state..which i want to do...i want to stay at a camp in california..but how is the free housing there? does it suck to live there for the summer? if i get an apt or get a lease...i would have to spend almost as much as i will be making which wouldn't make any sense

You didn't mention your situation in life. Are you a high school or college student? If college see if you can get an internship with lodging as part of the deal.

If that's not for you and you just want a "Summer Job" how about "house sitting"? That way you kill two birds with one stone.

See if anyone who owns a beautiful home on a beach needs a house sitter 'cause they will be traveling all summer. Tag on to that a lifeguarding job and your all set.

California has great Forests where you can live right at the center (Ranger's Lodge) and work with the Rangers. On your free time there should be fishing, swimming, or boating available.

If you don't mind traveling cross country you could always work at iBusch Gardens in either Williamsburg, Va or Orlando, FL. I'm sure there's some available housing there that the Employers could get you a deal on. Also Williamsburg's Historic Area has great summer jobs for students interested in history. These places usually pay for meals and other necessities while you work.
