i think the best thing you can do is to keep growing, and being a good man, being a supportive, thoughtful husband. Tome, the fact that you even asked the question is a show of growth and change on your part... if you keep it up, you know, the good stuff, then that is what you will get in return.

Make her a romantic dinner, yes you have to cook, followed by strawberries chocolate and fine wine. After that give her a hot oil massage, light some candles and make the night all about her. Don't mention anything about what you did, just concentrate on her all night. The air will be cleared by the next morning.

Get her out of the house for a day and have someone come clean it up real nice. Then plan a romantic dinner with candles everywhere followed by some Kenny G playing in the background while the two of you dance if front of the fire (if you have a fireplace).

Gifts and grand gestures are always nice, but its the easy way out.
Get creative.
Make her a card with a dog house on it, and a picture of yourself inside it. Even better get a friend to take a picture of you in a dog house with a sign around your neck saying you are sorry.
Women always like to know you would humble yourself for us.
Depending on what you did wrong however.
If you truly did something horrible it will take more than gifts or gestures.
Either way you need to remind your wife you are thankful to have her and you know your a lucky man.
Women just need to be reminded that they are just as special after years of marriage as they were to you when you were courting them.

Ok you can do this if means are available...
Go to Zales or some jewelry store in your area..
Buy her some diamond earrings or a nice necklace...
Put it on your bed with some rose pedals around it and have candles lit all around the room.
Order some food or better yet, cook for her.
Surprise her when she comes home..

Not sure what you did but I wouldnt go with the stand bys of buying something...that just looks like your trying to buy your way out of it. Try to think of something with sentimental value or just out of the ordinary. This is going to sound strange, but after a long argument with my husband and days of silent treatment, he came home and handed me a doorknob/flowers. I just looked at him and wondered what he was thinking. Said he just always wanted to keep the door open on our relationship and open communication and didnt want to be shutout ever again and he was sorry. Could have cared less about the flowers, but I still have the door knob. Kind of a running joke now whenever one of us does something stupid instead of I'm sorry we just say doorknob.

Why don't you try talking it out with her? That would probably be unique.
