There's a few I like: My Left Foot, Frida, Lust for Life, The Agony and the Ecstasy, Moulin Rouge (original). I'd pick The Agony and the Ecstasy.

"Hudson Hawk" starring Bruce Willis and a multitude of DaVinci's entertaining art and inventions.
Guess 2nd would be "The DaVinci Code" starring Tom Hanks.
A wierd, offbeat movie about an unknown female sculptress would be "The Sculptress", starring Jeff Fahey...didn't earn a lot of stars but was in a book of the top 100 offbeat horror films of all time. I saw it and it is worth a look if it is in the 2 for $ section (I have seen much worse...would give it about a "5-6" on a scale of 10.
