Yeahh.. it might be Ben because it revealed that Jack was wrong after all.

I remember Jack answering that the dead person was neither friend or family. So, assuming it is someone on the island, I'd guess Ben, Locke, or Sawyer. And I doubt anyone would expect Kate to go to Ben's funeral, so that leaves Locke or Sawyer, and I could go either way on which of them would have no one show up at their funeral. I lean toward Sawyer.

I think it's Ben. Anybody else, people would come to the funeral. He goes because he finally sympathizes with Ben and why he wanted to stay on the island. People would've come to see Sawyer, Locke, etc.
Crazy finale, I'm a little upset about the flashforward but who knows it could all change, you never ever know with this show.

My guess is it was Locke. His desire to keep them on the island was very strong. Someone posted in another question a copy of the newspaper clipping, it states a man's body from New York and appears to say "Latham". But as we know we still have three years and new characters are introduced all the time.
More questions than answers and that is why we love and hate it!

My guess is that it is ben. As odd as it may seem, who else would Jack go see. He wants to go back to the island he said and I think he realized after they get off that Ben was right all along and if he still holds a torch for the island, I'm sure ben would play a big role in that as well. Besides who would come see him?

When Jack went into the funeral parlour, i am pretty sure that he said "either" to the friend or family question, i can't be certain, but i thought that he said either. i am still wondering who is is the casket also, i am not even sure that they actully get off the island. the name of the parlour is "Hoffs Drawlar" which means "flashfoward" so i think jack is having future visions, but idk

I really don't see Jack being that upset over Locke!
Otherwise I was wondering who it was also, with no one specifically in mind.
