None of them, even the democrats, really seem to support gay rights. That's kind of what I expected, but it's also very disappointing. I'm thinking that I'll vote for Edwards, based on his other stances (healthcare, abortion, environment)... but he's not very gay-friendly!

Q stands for "queer", which is an all-encompassing term. It can also mean "questioning".

Civil rights are important election issues, but rest assured, I will not vote for someone just because they're gay friendly, or withold my vote if their only flaw is homophobia.

Edwards is probably your best bet. Out of curiosity, what does the "Q" stand for?

Unfortunately, Bush pushed gay marriage into the front lines with the amendment around the elections. It's a weird time to talk about LGBTQ issues. I'd say Hillary actually, don't ask don't tell only came about because the military essentially refused Bill's policy that it was okay to be gay and serve openly in the military. Elections should not just be about morality.

Hopefully none of them. Its sad that sexual deviants are expecting to have a candidate support them. Its like asking which candidate is the most BDSM friendly..

I don't think anyone has "sexually disoriented rights" in their platform.
