My guess is Locke or Michael (Walt's dad who got to go home last season - you'll note it was in a highly African-American populated area that's why I thought Michael) You never know it could be Ben as well. It was a flash-forward, not a flash-back which confused many.

I dont believe because since Jack is crying, it might be his half-sister, but im not exaclty sure. It might be that Locke or someone else....since he has no family... i dont know anymore.

well since it was a flash forward, and by the way kate reacted, i would say it may have been locke's. i guess we will have to wait and see.
