Great question because I recently lost my bunch of keys despite the fact I am really very careful about them. There must be some sort of black hole, not in the universe but on our planet that the scientists haven't discovered yet but is a place for all truly lost things.

Seriously these are all places I have been known to hide my car keys when I've been drinking, it really sucks on a Monday morning when you have to go to work with the mother of all hangovers

My husband hunted the house for his bunch of keys and eventually found them in the airing cupboard when he was looking for a clean towel. He must have left them on the worktop and I probably put the ironing pile on top of them and ended up putting the whole lot in the airing cupboard. Looked for them for absolute ages, never thought we'd ever find them!!

In the recliner, between the sea cushion and the side of the chair. That's where I find the remote all the time so why not keys.

Look in the ignition switch on the seats in car around the outside of car and inside and outside of the door you used to get in any ledges or tables

in my purse.. I will look all over the house... pull up the cushions on the couch... even look in the freezer and refirgerator... only for them to be in my purse!!.. your keys are probably with mine.. just laughing at you..lol
