we were told by the bank that if we clean up our credit, which isn't bad to begin with, we'd be approved for a 100,000 loan. as we stand now, we can get 65,000. Renting is so fruitless, and I hope all of us renters go check with a bank just to find out our worth. Do it and you'll feel better.

Now I live in NC though and I pay $497 for a one-bedroom. Small, but no worries. Movin' in a couple of months.

We pay $550 for a four-bedroom, two story home with 1 1/2 baths, a full basement, a garage, and a huge yard. A similar home was advertised for rent in the paper recently for $800 so I think we are quite lucky. We live in a small town in northern Illinois.

I live in a small town about 50 miles outside of Houston, Texas my mortgage on a 4 bedroom/2 bath is $892.00 a month.

In rural Iowa, but close to major cities, app.20 min. away, $575.00 for a large, 4 bedroom , though only 1 full bath. Also has large living room, kitchen, and storage areas. Also on several acres. Surrounded by beautiul pine trees.

0 Wow a 2 bedroom in MI is that much? Here a decent 2bedroom will run you $800 to $1000.

Well for my 1500 sq foot home,,,with about an acre of land and a building,,,I paid 385,,,plus insurance....in Anderson S.C.Now that its paid for I found another home I am going to buy,,,the payment on it will be 370 a month,,a mile from here,,it has almost 7 acres of land,,three buildings,,and has 2700 sq.foot of living space,,it has a basement and when I reroof it,,it will have an attic..also a creek on the land,,,the I am buying it out of a foreclosure.

Out in the country near the Tennessee river with a creek running through the back yard full of trees which supplies my two dogs (plus their friends) with plenty of fresh water which saves me time so I can enjoy sittin' on the porch with the ol' lady and peal her a fresh apple off the tree in the yard during the summer time!--total package? $250$
PS.Getting the hell out of downtown Phx AZ paying 315.00$ a month, twenty yrs ago......priceless
and yes i'm feeling frisky, i mean risky!
