Jack had a flash forward. I thought the whole time it was a flashback. What do you think? It's the first time I remember they did a flash forward. Why the change?

Because there are three seasons left. In the show "Lost Answers" that aired last week and last night, the producers said we would continue to learn past and present "things" about the castaways, but we'd also begin to learn what happens to them in the future. That is what is happening. The beginning of the end so we have to move into what happens in the future with flashbacks to what happened on the island! AWESOME!

It was a flash forward and it was the first time they have done this. Jack loves Kate and so he was thinking about their future together if they ever got off the island.

my jaw just about hit the floor once i realized it was a flash forward. i think that they did it that way to show that this major turning point in the story is the beginning of the end. we now know that they will eventually get off the island, we've just gotta wait and see how.

i think of they make the teach extra finished. that's important to correctly known what variety of human beings they have been in the previous they crashed on the island as a results of fact it impacts what they do. This season's flash-sideways physique of recommendations is the main original yet, and that i've got faith that it will become a very needed clue to revealing why they have been dropped on the island and why somebody has to take Jacob's place.

they flash forward to make us CRAZY
he wants to go back to the island, they weren't supposed to leave, that's what he keeps saying. and that flash is right after they make contact with the outside world

Its a flash forward and they did that just to be different and throw us off.
