I'll be going to Vegas in late September for my 3rd visit.. not sure which hotel to stay at this time. There will be 6 people all between the ages of 21 and 25. Should we spend the extra money to stay at the Bellagio? Or should we stay at the NYNY as it has more nightclubs/bars aimed at my age group?

(P.S. I've stayed at NYNY before and loved it, but is the Bellagio really all that special for a Partial Lakeview Room? My other friends havent been in Vegas before.)

for people of your age you should stay at either Mandalay Bay or Hard Rock or Palms. Bellagio is nice, but not worth the extra $$. If you want to splurge go Venetian or Wynn before Bellagio. Mandalaly Bay has an 11 acre pool second to none, while Hard Rock and Palms are loaded with 20 somethings, and Palms has the best clubs

If you've narrowed your search to those two properties you are definitely better off at NYNY. NYNY is more affordable on all accounts...food, gambling, rooms, etc... There is more to do for your age group as well. Bellagio is a little stuffier, the only advantage is its location in the center of the strip but NYNY is in a good spot as well. You have the clubs in NYNY plus Studio 54 right across the street at MGM. None of the other hot spots are far away either. Hard Rock, Palms, Drais are all close.

Do not stay at the Bellagio if you are 21 to 25, you will be bored out of your mind. It is an upscale hotel for rich (and I mean rich) older people. There is nothing in it for you except extra money and I don't know if you have checked the rates but it is a lot more than "extra". The NYNY is a great, affordable hotel especially at your age. If you're looking for a change check out the Rio, it caters even more to young people.

Bellagio is definitely for an older crowd. I got strange looks from the hotel staff when I came back at 5 am. NYNY is fun, but if you want to stay on the strip, MGM is a great place for young folk. Many restaurants and clubs.

The best part of the Bellagio is the butterfly gardens. Save your money by doing a quick run-through and stay at NYNY.

If all the people in your group are "partiers" , I would stay at NYNY just for the younger vibe it gives off than Bellagio does. Bellagio gives off the opulent "more money than I know what to do with" vibe.

BTW - the bands that play at the Big Apple Bar ABSOLUTELY ROCK!!

Between the two, definitely NYNY. The Bellagio, as has been said, is for the VERY rich and older crowd, it is pretentious, not fun.

I would also agree that NYNY will be a better time for the 20 somethings not to mention it will be considerably cheaper leaving more money for alcohol. It is also in a good location across from MGM and not far from Mandalay Bay.

I would recommend The Palms for that age group - it's a fun hotel, lots of parties and clubs, more suited to your needs.

Out of the two provided, definitely the Bellagio! It's a beautiful hotel, very luxurious.
