A form of line equation is called the intercept form;
it is x/a+y/b=1;(a is x intercept; b is y intercept)
for this you must modify the given equation:
x =- 2;
to get +1 on rhs, divide throughout by -1;
x/-1= 1;
x intercept is -1;
since there is no y term there is no y intercept;
theoretically it is at infinity!
think over!

The x-intercept will be -2. There is no y-intercept.

This equation is for a vertical line at x=-2.

once you look for the x and y intercept you positioned one equivalent to 0.. so it relatively is vitally ordinary. ?right here we are able to set x equivalent to 0 y=0 so as that shows that the y- intercept is 0 ?right here we are able to set y equivalent to 0 0=x so as that shows that the x intercept is 0 x-intercept: The x intercept is:0 y-intercept: The y intercept is:0 desire this facilitates?

this crosses the x axis at x= -2 ie (-2,0)

It does not cross the y axis at all
