The USA does not FORCE the other countries to live like us, their citizens CHOOSE to live like us. Nobody is forcing anybody into the "American Way". The influence of the USA on the world may have something to do with the USA helping the world out of some scrapes the world was in (world wars, famines, etc) and then rebuilding these nations, not once, but many times. WHen you are receiving help from a group of people, why do you make up lies like this about them?
Of course if YOUR way is to come over here to our contry and attack us, we are in our rights to force our peaceful ways on you. Just remember, we did not start those wars, but we finished them for you.

Well because we live everyday free to make our own choices. Most people in the United States don't die of starvation or have large amounts of the population dying from Aids or live everyday thinking it could be there last because they may be blown up by a suicide bomber. We want everyone to have what we have which is a better life. Simple as that. Whats the American way? Living like a king? Who doesn't want to live like a king? I have every toy I could possibly dream of. Drive a nice car, buy whatever I want. I love the American way. You can kiss my American ***.

The USA doesn't give a crap if other countries live like they do or not, some of the people in other countries are choosing for their own selves to live like we do in USA and some are choosing not to, the USA don't give a crap one way or the other. Although it is nice to see that some people want to progress out of the dark ages.

Americans feel guilty about other people not having the same opportunities that they do. It isn't so much that they (we) want other coutnries to live the same way - they just don't want to see people living horrible lives.

The same exact thing exists in the various religions. Christians feel compelled to convert everyone to Christianity and Muslims feel that anyone who isn't a Muslim is less than human. Infidel. And then with those religions there are sects who oppose anyone who isn't a part of their sect.

I think it is some kind of crazy tribal human thing to feel that anyone who isn't like you is wrong.

we are the #1 country in the world for a reason and they aren't. we have a certain resposibility that comes with being the best. we get bashed for doing too much, and if we didn't do anything we would be bashed for not doing enough. the u.s. can't win. but it's better to do too much and get criticized, than not doing anything at all. i agree, the world is full of u.s. haters. grrr

Well if you define the 'American Way' as living in relative peace with your fellow countrymen, not killing each other and not raising children to become suicide bombers, then hell yes, we want EVERYONE on Earth to adopt this as soon as possible.
