That would be perfect!
Some answers are so good its almost impossible to narrow it down to just two answers let alone one!

The runner up should get say 5 points, or even just 1 extra as a special mention!

I agree! I have put questions to a vote & put what I think are the two best answers when in that situation. A runner-up getting maybe 5 points would be nice, too!

Very aggravating!!!!!!!!!! Yes, it happened to me a year ago with a former Yahoo ID. Question: "Which comes first: chicken or egg?" My Answer: "Chicken (alphabetical order!)" Another answerer used my identical answer after I submitted it. His was chosen Best Answer. Turned out to be a team of two persons who had a little game going where she would pose a question; he would answer; and no matter how inane (or insane) the answer, his would be chosen for the 10 points. An example -- she asked the question: "Who invented the 24 hour day?" He answered "Rolex owner", and she chose that as Best Answer.

Sounds good to me, but how many points would the runner up get and how would the top contributer read if you have a lot of runner ups? 1/2 top contributer.......LOL

Good idea. I think it would also be fun to be able to distribute the 10 points between different answers.

Yeah and I dont know why they took away the option of 'no best answer'.. thats the only real, logical best answer some of the time.
