I think he'd be wonderful. Even if he doesn't get chosen, he's bringing issues to the forefront that otherwise would be ignored. He's definitely adding to the debate, and people are becoming more informed as a result.
Like my Ron Paul t-shirt says "Change the debate in 2008!" He's definitely doing that.

I think he would be an excellent choice. He is the only candidate that is willing to tell the American people the truth about 9/11, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the economy. He is not an elite-controlled puppet like all the other candidates, including Obama.
What saddens me is the Ron Paul is being buried in the media and vilified by other candidates for speaking out against our war OF terror. He won't stand a chance in the election unless the people take back our country and vote for Ron Paul!!

Dr. Paul is well informed and in my opinion is the only person qualified to be President of The United States.
If you view Dr. Paul's voting record, it will become apparent he is for a less centralized government. He is extremely knowledgeable on the subjects of history, economics and foreign policy. He understands that mankind in general is very fragile; meaning that humans are easily corrupted. Dr. Paul speaks of these issues all the time if one takes the time and effort to read his treatises and speeches. These can be found at www.house.gov/paul
Dr. Paul is being bushwhacked by the mainstream media (MSM). Why? Are we so passive, we are to believe the MSM is genuinely interested in personal liberty? These are all very large corporations that wish to either take more subsidies, make more money, deregulate if it benefits their cause, diminish your rights to recourse, publish distorted information, send lobbyists to Washington, give kickbacks, unify health care, sell more goods from overseas that are manufactured by a deprived and abused people, inflate our currency, deceive, create a unified central and north America, introduce a new currency called the Amero, insert radio frequency identification devices in all goods purchased; so they can track and database everything we buy, and a whole host of other objectives that will eventually enslave us.
Mussolini defined fascism as a perfect co-operation between the state and corporations. If you accept that definition, then we are well on our way. If corporations (that never dies like a natural person does) want a certain candidate, then that is the candidate that I will be least likely to vote for. I want a champion. I want a Paladin. I want Ron Paul for all these reasons and more!
I fear we are at a great crossroads this election. If the people want to be the child to an irresponsible and neglectful parent, then vote for someone other than Ron Paul. If you choose to be responsible, and make the hard choices a responsible parent makes in the best interest of the child, then vote for Ron Paul.
It is my I hope I answered your question.

He would have my vote, but really has no chance. He ran in 1988 for the Libertarian party.

His position onthe war in Iraq excludes him from having any chance of getting the nomination. Sorry, just the plain truth.

He has some good points on why we are hated around the world, but I'm afraid he would be too much in the other direction and be too soft.

I agree... He is the ONLY CANDIDATE that seems to know what the F*ck is going ON in this country. He will get my vote, if he makes it that far.

not i...i think ron paul is (pointer finger rotating beside right ear) and has about as much chance, if not even less, as dennis the menace kucinich of being our next president...but go ahead and waste your vote and take the chance of electing hillary...see how you feel about ron paul then...
