Are you referring to the 5 hour mini series produced by A&E and starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle, or the new one starring Keira Knightely?
Personally I like both, and I own both. But I have to say that when I watch the Keira Knightely version after reading the book I feel something's lacking. However, the mini-series starring Colin Firth covers most of the book religiously, and Jennifer Ehle is so smart and witty as Elizabeth. Really it's a wonderful version. I believe there was also a Pride and Prejudice movie made in the 1940's, but I've never seen it.

it's just like the book with some scenes edited or whatever and the ending is much better than the book. i won't spoil it for you if you're planning on watching it
