No, it is a type of potential with so-called 'perfection' being the complete attainment of that potential; but since potential is unlimited, perfection can never be found. There can always be something else to attain, or an improvement which can be made.
This is not necessarily negative because if you are looking for the perfection of something positive, rest assured that when you have reached what is thought of as perfection, it is not 'as good as it gets.' There is always something better which you can strive for, attain or manifest after that.

Yes there is perfection because there is also imperfections.
It can not do without the other and all our reference books or guidelines has it. We know that there is a perfect science and that is "One Plus One equals two" (1+1=2)

The proof of perfection is in the merits of my own perception. Can there, for instance, be a proof of perfection that is not perfection itself? It is as, could anything but beauty be a proof of beauty? The ray of light shines in the heart and illuminates the mind to know that it did not know. I fall in love. But where I my heart this love has been sleeping so far? Then yes! There can be a proof of beauty other than beauty itself. As there is love, love that appreciates beauty and seeks it with all its being: all the labour of love, its perilous journeys, and its troubles are for one and only one purpose, to find beauty to be beautiful. If then we momentarily allow ourselves to understand that beauty is perfection, then what is love for perfection is simply the love.
We would not see imperfection without perfection also in view, as it would be impossible to feel absence without being acquainted with presence, at least once. Or, we would not see light if there were no darkness, if there were all but light. Can then this be true that we see imperfections just because we already see perfection, and we do not perfection with our physical eye because there is nothing so imperfect as perfection?
The love we have then is the ultimate answer, and a way out of this riddle, this labyrinth. The love we have for perfection is the love we are, so the eye sees all but itself. We are the expression of perfection into a world that is imperfect as distanced from the OUR merits of perfection that we essentially are, but that is also what we seek. We want to know – who we are? Or who am I? This question cannot be answered as it leads to perfection in my essence.
If then I withdraw my claim of my standpoint and see a teacup, for instance, then I would find that any teacup is perfect in a way of its own. If I do not apply my own merits of perfection upon any thing, then everything is perfect. The merits of my perfection therefore are essential and innately mine.
Then I find myself imperfect too when I compare myself with other people, or to the supreme values I uphold, or the ideals that cherish. If I have nothing in view that in my mind is greater than what in my view I am, then I would have realised perfection through my own being. But the truth is that there are always things greater than any thing known to the mind that the mind knows without realising that it knows as perfection

No, but that should not prevent us from aspiring to it. Like World Peace and perfect health, it's something we should strive for, while acknowledging we'll never get there. Good question.

It's like in my mind my husband is the epitome of perfection in all ways, in anothers, he's a pain, egotistical. Last night I looked at the night sky and it was perfect but, you know there were probably solar showers, big rock like thingies up there so to summarize perfection again, it's in the "eye of the beholder". (Just my opinion)

i think even if someone spent all their life trying to achieve perfection, they wouldn't. A person could paint and paint a picture on a canvas for years, but how do they know when it's finished? How do they know when to stop painting? It could be a beautiful work of art, but how do they know which brush stroke will finish it- that person could go on forever- do you know what i mean?

No.
What you perceived as perfect may not be for someone else.
Besides, even if a person sees something as perfect, contentment
will wear off, and he/she will eventually seek for something more,
for something better.

No, there isnt :p because everyone has a different idea of what perfect is. You can be perfect to someone, but not just perfect to everyone, or perfect in general. :))
